Call for Presentations
The 6th Asia-Pacific Behavioural and Addictions Medicine (APBAM) Conference is accepting presentation proposals for our conference this year. Don’t miss your chance to share information with your peers and showcase your work! We are calling for poster and oral presentations:
For oral presentations, speakers will be allotted a 10 minute slot, with an added 5 minutes for question and answers, during the first afternoon of the conference. The following kinds of presentation are some examples of what will be accepted.
- Presentation of Already Published Research
- Presentation on PhD Thesis
- Presentation of Research Findings (unpublished)
- Project-Based Presentations
- Qualitative Case Study
Poster presentations will be displayed prominently in the conference hall. Presenters should be present during breaks, etc to explain their findings to conference delegates. Poster presentations may be applied for in addition to an oral presentation to better display/explain the work. Standard academic posters should be approximately 36” high x 48” wide. The following kinds of presentation are some examples of what will be accepted.
- Work-Based Presentations
- Quantitative Case Study
Topics should be related to either Addictions or Behavioural Medicine. We accept already published research, PHD papers, projects and presentations based on work experience. Important dates to note:
31 July 2019 – Closing Date for Submission of Abstracts and Proposals
Abstracts and proposals will be reviewed and vetted by our conference committee. We will contact you shortly after this to give approval and any suggestions for changes.
31 August 2019 – Submitters Notified on Outcome
You will be informed by this date if you are on the shortlist to present at the conference.
15 September 2019 – Acceptance of Outcome by Shortlisted Submitters
All presenters are required to confirm their attendance as PAID/ REGISTERED delegate upon abstract/proposal acceptance. Upon doing so, the conference secretariat will assign slots and places for oral/poster presentations.
